Welcome to the Top Spin Champions Balls System, the dynamic scoring mechanism that brings every real-world tennis match straight into your fantasy game! At Top Spin Champions, we want to make sure that every key moment of a match counts, and that's why our Balls System is designed to reward you for predicting the right moments, actions, and outcomes. From aces to set wins, this system is at the heart of your fantasy tennis strategy.
How the Balls System Works
In Top Spin Champions, your points are earned and lost based on your players' real-life performances during matches. The more you understand the game and its dynamics, the better you can make predictions and rise to the top of the leaderboard. Here's how the Balls System works:
Points Earned (Actions that Add Points)
-
Winning a Set
- +10 points: Every time one of your selected players wins a set, you score a solid 10 points. This reward reflects the hard-fought victories in each set.
-
Winning a Match
- +20 points: The ultimate reward! When your player wins a match, you gain a massive 20 points. Picking match winners will get you closer to the top spot.
-
Aces
- +2 points per ace: Every ace your player hits adds 2 points to your score. Aces are a huge advantage in real tennis, and we reward them in fantasy sports too!
-
Break Points Won
- +5 points per break point won: Break points can change the entire momentum of a match. For every successful break point your player converts, you earn 5 points.
-
Games Won
- +3 points per game won: Winning games matters! Every game your player wins during a match contributes 3 points to your total.
-
Tiebreaker Win
- +8 points: Tiebreakers are often intense, and winning one can be a game-changer. Earn 8 points for every tiebreak victory by your player.
-
Double Faults Forced
- +3 points per double fault forced: Forcing your opponent into a double fault shows dominance. Each double fault your player forces results in 3 additional points for your team.
Points Lost (Actions that Deduct Points)
-
Double Faults
- -2 points per double fault: Double faults can hurt, both in tennis and in fantasy! When your player commits a double fault, 2 points are deducted from your total score.
-
Set Lost
- -5 points: Losing a set results in a 5-point penalty. Pay attention to the flow of the match to predict set winners carefully!
-
Games Lost
- -2 points per game lost: Every game your player loses costs you 2 points. Stay sharp and pick players who can hold their serve consistently.
-
Retirement/Withdrawal
- -15 points: If your player retires from the match due to injury or another issue, you will lose 15 points. This is the biggest setback, so be mindful of player injuries.
-
Red Card (Unsportsmanlike Behavior)
- -10 points: A red card for misconduct can be a serious penalty, and in fantasy tennis, it results in a 10-point deduction. Avoid players with temperamental tendencies!
